Palmetto Puzzle Works LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Whole Year Puzzle mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information We Collect
Anonymous Account. When you first open the App, we automatically create an anonymous account using a randomly generated identifier. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal contact information.
Puzzle Data. We record which daily puzzles you have solved and which solution variants you have discovered. This data is associated with your anonymous identifier and is used to display your statistics and contribute to community aggregate stats.
Purchase Records. When you unlock the App via an in-app purchase or access code, we store a record of the unlock method and timestamp associated with your anonymous identifier. This allows you to restore your purchase on a new device. Actual payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we do not receive or store your payment details.
Access Codes. If you redeem an access code, we record which code was used and associate it with your anonymous identifier to prevent reuse.
Device and Usage Data. We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, location data, or analytics. We do not use any third-party analytics or advertising services.
How We Use Your Information

Data Storage
Your data is stored on servers provided by Supabase, Inc., which uses Amazon Web Services infrastructure located in the United States. Your puzzle progress is also stored locally on your device.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties. Aggregate, anonymized community statistics (such as total number of solves for a given day) are visible to other users of the App. No individual user data is disclosed.
Data Retention
We retain your anonymous account data and puzzle history for as long as the App is operational. Since accounts are anonymous, we cannot identify you from this data.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because all accounts are anonymous and we collect no personal information, the App is suitable for all ages.
Your Choices
Delete Your Account. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App by navigating to More > Delete Account. This permanently removes your anonymous account, puzzle solve history, purchase records, and any redeemed access codes from our servers. Local data stored on your device is also cleared. This action cannot be undone.
Uninstall. You may delete the App at any time, which removes all locally stored data. To also remove your server-side data, please use the Delete Account option before uninstalling.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
